Richards is the best option, Heaney is second and after that it's one giant clusterf**k. We really need Shoemaker and Santiago to get it going over the final few weeks.

Any manager in his right mind, if he could order according to ability and performance, it'd be Richards, Heaney, Shoe and either Tropeano or Weaver.  

 

But this is Mike Scioscia we're talking about here.  He's going to slot it Richards, Weav, Heaney and then Shoe.  

 

But I also wouldn't put it past him to go Weav, Santiago, Richards, Shoe, because he makes idiotic personnel decisions pretty regularly.

Sosh knows Weave is much better at home. And he has a history of moving him around in the rotation to take advantage of that in the playoffs.

Weaver is a must in the playoffs ... Richards is our ace. Richards will pitch in a one game playoff if it sets up that he can.

It's going to come down to the wire ... might not be much play in the rotation.

Might be able to get by without Weave in a 3 out of 5 series, maybe, but we would need him for any 4 out of 7 series.

Currently the Angels really have a two man rotation in Heaney and Richards. Everyone else is pitching terribly in their last 5 starts.

 

Heaney ERA 3.10

Richards ERA 3.41

Weaver ERA 6.35

Shoemaker ERA 6.39

Santiago ERA 7.40

 

Even with that crapfest rotation the Angels have gone 6-4 in their last 10 games.
