The catching position is the most important position in baseball. Dipoto's love for Iannetta has killed us. He can't hit and he can't throw. I've said it many times that we could've had Russell Martin catching Halo pitchers. He knows how to call a game and he can hit. I still don't understand why Dipoto ever extended Iannetta.

Meh. That wasn't a bad trade. Chatwood had a very good 2013 (142 ERA+), but was awful in 2012 and has barely played since 2013.

I was honking for KING CONGER for awhile. I was sick and tired of hole in the bat catchers aka Jeff Mathis - over better hitters aka Mike Napoli.

So...to answer your question....YES - I wanted KING CONGER to play over Ianada....Who G.A.S. if he can "frame"...if he can't hit water if he fell out of a friggin' boat. You need a threat. Doesn't have to be Johnny Bench...or Bengie Molina. I'd take Jose Molina.
