I remember when Howie came up I thought he was going to be thrilling to watch for years to come.  He was lining doubles everywhere, I thought for sure he was the next Tony Gwynn.  Fast forward to the present and he might as well be Marco Scutaro.  He still hasn't learned to lay off the offspeed junk low and away.  Minimal power and speed.  He bores me now.  Bring back Segura.

In terms of fundamentals and playing with urgency this might be the worst Angel team I've seen in my 20 some odd years of watching the team.

 

The IE 66ers would be an upgrade. At least those kids play hard and smart.
