Few things in this game:

 

Lindholm and Manson have been ****ing spectacular.  It is so fun to watch them and awesome to see them recover from a rough game.

 

It was foreshadowing (and validation for me) at the beginning of the broadcast they mentioned that NJ doesn't have a true scoring line so the Kesler line didn't have a true assignment.  You saw tonight what they can do if their job isn't shutting down the opposing line.

 

So glad Richie finally scored!  Hopefully that gets him going.

 

I hope Bieksa and Vatanen are ok.  Holzer is ok but he is not as good as those two.  Stoner has done well in the opportunities he gets, he looked strong.

NJ & Toronto should be the worst teams next year. Sadly NJ has no chance at getting Auston Matthews in the draft so when they hit rock bottom its going to hurt very badly. Edm/Buffalo should improve with a healthy McDavid & Eitchel, also Edmonton likely trades for some better D in the offseason.

NJ should ship out Schneider for prospects & picks, Zajac too.

couple mistakes on D almost cost the Ducks.  I think maybe the first time since the start of the season I actually saw Lindholm get out muscled and turnover the puck.

Was a pretty good period for us. The Rangers are a team that I would expect us to struggle a bit against. I feel like eastern conference fast teams are always a thing for us. So far so good tho. Hope to see the good play go the full 60 here tonight.
