Sucks cuz I used to clown my fellow Dodgers fans that they don't have a show to listen to but the Angels do.

I've tuned in to 570 in the mornings recently and there is some gosh-awful dude and chick sports show. Unbearable. Who are these clowns? I am shocked they have a show on the radio. There has to be a better alternative.

I assume he didn't have a choice. Either you get local talent or you syndicate. As soon as your local talent gets any good, they leave for a bigger station.

I need to start every morning with some Angels talk and LA sports.

But not Rodger Lodge again.

Travis Rodgers 5-7am it's not working for me.

7-9 am slot better.

I tried to grit out Lodge's show yesterday on the drive home. He is trying way too hard to create a personality he doesn't have. Forced and very difficult to listen to. I ended up just listening to the traffic, even squealing truck brakes are easier on the ears.

I enjoyed any show talking about the Angels in the morning (Lodge or Rodgers), but it looks like there is a new station called The Beast 980.  Now they are the only local show at the 7-9 time slot.  They were talking about Hamilton today...they are essentially the Clippers version of KLAA.

I am always amazed that during my spring training trips to Arizona, with Spring Training going on and March Madness happening -- the sports talk radio shows, local / national all seem to be about the NFL -- player movements and draft pick projections/ trades......

 

NFL talk seems to dominate all..........oh well.
