Vogelsong has not been that reliable -- even as a number 4/5 -- for the Giants last year and pretty much the year before as well.

 

He could get hit hard at Houston's park.

Vogelsong is pretty much Joe Blanton.  He's gonna take a beating in that park and in the AL.  The Astros aren't good enough to where I could see a guy like this doing much for them besides taking innings from younger players that need the experience.  

 

Rasmus has been awful in three of his last four years in the AL playing in hitters parks.  He's only mildly interesting because there is a 20% chance of him throwing out a 4 WAR season.  Matt Joyce is considerably better.
