The Trumbo deal for sure. Two young, inexpensive, lefty starting pitchers with a lot of club control left was amazing. I loved Trumbo, but that was a big haul for him.

For me easily Trumbo for 2 cost controlled pitchers.  Trumbo is barely a 1 WAR player and the Angels got 2 cost controlled young pitching for him.

I'm voting for the Trumbo deal for now, but I get the feeling the Heaney trade will turn out to huge win for the Angels in the near future.

I believe Kendrick for Heaney is gonna go down as the best yet..many people see this guy as a 1 or 2 top of the rotation guy...and the fact that we have up 1 year of Kendrick is mind blowing to me

What about Scott Downs for Rasmus? Not as big a scale as the others but that deal has packed some serious return after seeing how valuable Rasmus was last season both as a reliever and as a starter

 

Trumbo for Skaggs/Santiago is tops for me though. That deal was so huge for this team.

The tie breaker for me is that Trumbo netted two almost major league ready and team controlled pitchers, for Trumbo a barely 1 WAR player who's only skill is that he can hit the baseball very far, with subpar OBP and avg.  Sure Heaney might be who we expect him to be, but Kendrick was a 3-4 WAR player at a very reasonable contract with 1 year left.

Trumbo for Skaggs/Santiago still doesn't seem possible. But somehow Dipoto pulled it off. But with Skaggs going down with TJ surgery, this changes things. I will go with Street for Rondons. Getting a shut down closer for some prospects has turned out well. Plus the Angels get Street for next year.
