But again, the low BA is a big concern.

Plus, how do his defensive metrics look at 1B as Pujols' replacement for the some 40 games that Pujols will DH in?

Cron or Krauss is what it comes down to.

Can Krauss play some 140 games effectively between DH and 1B?

If so, it frees up Cron to be traded for help elsewhere.
