I was at Abbey Road. It's actually like the second most used road in London so it's jammed pack with cars going about 40mph. It's pretty much a "walk across at your own risk"

Hilarious headline!  I'm very curious about how he accomplished the shooting, along with how he escaped.  He must be sporting new limbs for this sprint from the Law.

 

The woman getting hit by the car is obviously in the wrong here, but it's getting more commonplace for people (the drivers of the hitting vehicles) to leave the scene for their own safety.  Depending on the location, they have sometimes been attacked by angry mobs.  Still; a Darwin fail.

I was at Abbey Road. It's actually like the second most used road in London so it's jammed pack with cars going about 40mph. It's pretty much a "walk across at your own risk"

 

It is fun is to watch people stopping in the crosswalk to reenact the Abbey Road album cover shot (while someone else takes a photo) and listen to how pissed the motorists get (a lot of blowing horns).

 

In case you haven't seen it before, there is a streaming webcam with sound pointed at the famous crosswalk 24/7.
