"My guess is that you are going to see $5 a gallon at any triple-digit [oil prices] ... as soon as you get to $100. And you might get to $6.50 or $7. Forget about $150 a gallon, I don't know where we will be by then," Energy Word founder Dan Dickersaid on Yahoo Finance Live.…

Channel 7 news just showed a station in L.A. that's charging $6.21 a gallon for regular.

They didn't think about the transition period.

Should have gone all hybrid and worked on updating the electric grid instead of rushing this on us when electric cars are not efficient enough to travel long distance

Then how can they charge us more for electricity, if they update the electric grid and make it more efficient?  I know, let's charge solar users more!

Already seeing it.  The Costco's I go to have jumped 10 cents since last Thursday when I filled up.
