I saw a fight while leaving the game a couple of months ago. They really need to have more security and better lighting in the parking lot

 

This. I always hate leaving just because I know the parking lot is dark as hell. It's a damn shame that some people can't be responsible and mature adults.

i love the angels. it's absolute bullshit that they, mlb and the city of anaheim don't have a strong police presence in the parking lot after the game. outside of the stadium before and after a game is the single most likely place and time for violence to occur. they know better and yet do little about it. they're going to get sued just like the dodgers and it'll be deserved. i lay this at the feet of several institutions.

Honestly, feel a lot safer at Dodger stadium now than Angel stadium. I went to a Dodger game a couple weeks ago for this first time in a long time and noticed how much security they have. The Angel stadium parking lot is dark and I always see drunk people acting a fool and pissing next to peoples cars.

no one can convince me that there is some dollar short fall keeping the proper entities i listed above from having a significant police presence outside of the stadium on game nights. just so we're clear, event security isn't good enough, they're not the deterrent that the cops are. also, i'm a big believer in the nfl's practice of having police in away uniforms inside the stadium posing as away fans. it's a great program.

True, but only because of the stow incident, dodgers stadium especially the pavilions were like boxing grounds. Fights every freaking night
