    after i saw the supporting cast of Harper, especially who bats behind him(murphy, zimmerman, turner, etc) and the pitching of the nationals, i am even more amazed by trout's stats

    the salary of star MLB players until this season has been much more than star NBA players because of the salary cap you can argue that the deals by Kershaw and trout looks like steals at this point. Trout would command 50 mil per year if he hits the market this off season

    no disrespect to Mantle, but there is no way he can put up those numbers against today's pitchers with all the scouting report, advance stats analysis, shifts, etc which makes me appreciate Trout even more.

    i agree, if he reaches 30-100, he will have a much better chance. he will need a monster game somewhere down the line. he reached 10 WAR already

    I think Pujols will not waive his no trade clause for a NL team since he cants play defense now even if he does, I can see him waiving it for the Dodgers only i wouldn't mind taking Urias, Seager etc

    Both teams had the best player in the world, and both team sucks, the Lakers were wasting Kobe's prime as the Angels are wasting trout's however, with basketball, all you need a a couple of pieces (bynum and Gasol), but in baseball, i just don't see anyway the Angels can become great in the near future.
