Ya right.  Look at their postgame comments.  This team has nothing but stupid cliches and excuses.  They're gonna look themselves in the mirror and go "Gee, we just didn't get any breaks."  "Just couldn't get that big hit, but we sure were close."  It's bullshit.  Sometimes a little anger can take you a little ways over the hump.  This team sounds like a bunch of pussies.

Skaggs won't be back until 2016.  Pretty sure Dipoto said they weren't going to rush him and they wouldn't be using him next year.

 

As for the game, CJ will be the huge wild card.  If for some reason CJ can be old CJ and keep the Royals in check and we can score more than uhh.... 1 or 2 runs and win the game, I feel good about having Weaver and Shoemaker go in games 4 and 5.

 

This really just comes down to the offense.  And unfortunately, they haven't even done a sliver of something to give us hope.  I mean, we lost to Jason Vargas who has been absolutely terrible for a month now.

Oh believe me I know.  Like many others, I've been done with Scioscia since the Aybar failed squeeze in 08', especially after he had the gall to blame Aybar for it.  But someone has to be a leader amongst the players too, someone who's willing to get on guys who aren't giving their all or playing with their heads screwed on straight.
