Worst fans

I couldn't believe the crowd tonight. Quite possibly the worst I've ever seen watching a playoff game.

But that's pretty typical for Angels fans.

There was a point in the game they tried to show a fan on TV and he was just sitting there on his phone texting.

I was there and it seemed fine. The fans leaving with a one run deficit was embarrassing though.

Didn't look that way on TV. It was like night and day from watching the Orioles game earlier.

yah.  the crowd is to blame for Trout's three pop outs and force out, Kendrick's three k's, and Pujols two pop outs and weak grounder.

Going into the playoffs I knew we'd have the weakest stadium in regards to home field advantage. Our fans are terrible. Barely any passion at all. Nothing like LA, SF, STL. Hell, even KC and PITT.

there are Three threads about Josh, but he was hitting 7th after a long layoff.  

 

Albert was a sad shell of his former self.  Trout popped out three times on pitches he normally hammers and fouled of a few others.  

 

I have no beef with the crowd.  They responded in kind to the energy their team gave them.

False. Since Weavers first pitch it was like a game against...well the Royals in July. How can we expect the team to get into the game if the fans aren't even into the game.

The crowd was shit and there's no excuse you can come up with to justify it.

On the radio the crowd was drowning out the broadcasters, driving home I could barely hear what was going on when Freese hit that homerun. On the TV (especially TBS) they seem to do a good job at not picking up the crowd noise (until home runs and stuff like that). Just my 2 cents.

Didn't get a chance to leave work early for this one. I'm going off the sound from the tv. Just sounded dull in comparison to Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and KC from the previous 3 games.

I don't know about playoff games but during the regular season, I'd guess 50% of those in attendance have, at best, a passive interest in baseball and the Angels.

Yes but that 50% are the ones who sell their tickets to Angels fans that have an active interest in baseball. Soooooo......
