Trout needs to pull his head out.  He's had quite a few big ABs so far and failed every time.  Meanwhile Bryce Harper is raking.

The A's are a good team but they can be beaten. Teams do better at home and I think that Hamilton and company will rake on this homestand.

Hamilton wanted to get out of there ASAP that last AB...at least we don't go back to Texas until the end of July.

 

Rough start to the year so far, need to have a good home-stand now.

All Hamilton said was that Texas was a football state, something 90% of Americans already knew. Hamilton could have dissed the team and front office, called Nolan Ryan every name in the book something Lackey would have done.

Hamilton spoke truth to power. The Metroplex IS a football town, and Texas is a football state.

 

And there was absolutely NO call to harass his family. None. 

 

You think maybe he made those comments because Rangers management didn't exactly make a huge effort to keep him there?

There is NEVER an occasion to be happy with winning one game of a 3-game series. NEVER. This team should be good enough to win 2 out of 3 against anybody. Occasionally, sure, you'll lose 2 out of 3. But we should never be happy or even content with that.
