Who will we face in the ALDS?

I'd like to see an angels-A's matchup in the ALCS, but seeing as how that's mathematically impossible I guess the ALDS is best we can do

Not impossible. If Baltimore takes the best record, they face the wild card winner in the first round and we face the winner of the AL Central. If Oakland were to win the wild card then beat Baltimore, and we were to beat the Central winner in the ALDS, we would play Oakland in the ALCS.

Hopefully the A'th

If we can get the A'th and Tigers, we've got a good shot.

I'd speculate the Royals are a 50/50 proposition in an ALDS. The O's are a 20/80 proposition in the ALCS.

The NL is a 100/0 proposition in the WS

Yeah... I'm undecided on this.

1. We play the A's SOOOO FREAKIN' OFTEN. It would be a bummer to get all the way to the ALDS and have to face Shark again, maybe twice. And if we were to lose that series we'd never hear the end of it.

2. That said, the A's aren't very good anymore and I don't think they are going to suddenly become awesome in less than a week.

3. But they are the A's and they just might turn it around because they are buttholes like that.

4. The Royals were able to beat the A's back when the A's were awesome- something we got a lot more chances at and didn't do very often.

5. So if current performances continue, we face the Royals in the ALDS.

6. If we go with the better story- it'll be the A's and they'll stick with Kazmir and that game will be epic.

7. I don't know which i would prefer. I'm glad I don't have to choose.
