but what makes it worse is not that we just have not been hitting (yeah, that's awful) but we also seem unwilling and/or unable to manufacture runs.

 

having guys sac bunt runners over and taking advantage of some of the speed we have on the base paths........that's what makes it so uphill.

 

I mean if HK gets on to lead off in a one run game and you have a guy up next who is Mr. GIDP move him over and then you have that whole shift thing going on with Hamilton -- there are ways to win and manufacture runs but Halos just don't seem to want to play ball that way..........HUH?

Note that BoSox have  made a defensive move in CF......last night that paid off for the BoSox as the guy made two stellar plays.

heck, Sosh once won a World Series with a key defensive replacement in the OF (when he pulled Salmon for Alex Ochoa (is that who it was?)......and Ochoa made a catch Salmon never would have reached..........what's happened Mike?
