What's your point? I thought Hatcher was hitting coach in 2009 ... my mistake.

Oh, I am pretty sure that was one of your troll posts thinking that 2009 was an amazing year offensively (and it was) and that this season didn't compare. So you brought up Hatcher...thinking you were clever.

2009.......115 games played the Angels had 666 runs scored

2014.......115 games played the Angels have 545 runs scored

 

It's not even close!

I'm sure you still think the scoring environment from 1999 is the same as 2014.

Now why don't you compare numbers relative to the league average (with proper adjustments). And come back with your findings, ok?

Well, it was if you want to look at it that way. But you can't compare them like that.

By the way, only the A's have scored more runs than the Angels this year...and the A's are on pace to score 790 runs. That wouldn't even put them in the top-5 in the AL in 2009. The offensive environment has changed.
