Another Trout slump

Another thing about Trout this year.   His production to the opposite field is down by a ton.  In fact, he's actually been pretty bad.  hitting .206 with a wrc+ of 50 and a ton of fly balls and popups.   So maybe it is more about him focusing on the hr.

im not as versed on advanced stats as some of you guys, but to me it absolutely appears hes trying to be a slugger.

This has nothing to do with current slump. But for me, id much rather have the ricky henderson / early bonds version of trout that the late version of bonds. Ill take the home runs of course. But id way prefer the power speed combo guy we saw the first 2 years

I'm guessing trout has like a 1.000 OPS in the month of august after tonight's game.
