Predicts Uehara to Angels, along with other closers moving at deadline...Not sure there is a starter out there who makes sense for us so I'd consider one more bullpen piece....Uehara might fly under the radar a little, maybe we could get him for a reasonable price....At his age, you would think the Sox aren't inclined to keep him, the way the Rangers may be with Soria....kind of like us with Downs last year (although Uehara is better than Downs).....holding on to a late 30's guy when you're a seller doesn't make a lot of sense....Discuss....

I am not sure the Red Sox would sell. They aren't far from getting back to the WS. Uehara still has another year or two left I think. It's not like the Red Sox need to rebuild.

I'd rather get Uehara than Soria. He will be cheaper (in terms of salary and what we'd have to give up) and doesn't help a division rival.

I don't like either. We most likely will have to give up more than he's worth, just by the nature of trading for a "proven closer.". Screw improving either of those teams
