Good news on the wild card front

During the past ten days we have gained ground on each of the top six teams behind us in the wild card race.

 

Angels have a 3.5 game lead on Seattle, who would have the second WC if the season ended today, and are 5.5 games better than the next pursuer, Toronto.

Lot of teams in the AL bunched up in that WC hunt. Angels are in the midst of separating themselves from the pack now, which is great. They need to start taking care of business against Seattle now.

+1....not only that but lots of things can happen to totally reshuffle the deck, good and bad.....half a season is an eternity in baseball.....just keep this roll going for now....

Still want to win the division, but at least some kind of postseason seems likely for the Angels, for the first time in five years.
