Score ticker on bottom of screen all game!!?!!

Thought there would have been a topic about this already. Is that score ticker on the bottom of the screen driving anyone else mad? Usually they don't have it there all game during the live broadcast, only on replays. I hope they're not trying to be like ESPN and have it there 24/7. Some may think I'm overreacting but to me it's a big deal! Anyone know anything about this?

I didn't get home until the 12th inning but the ticker didn't bother me on the radio. It sucks now.

I'm watching the ducks live feed, no ticker. Not sure if the clippers run it during live feeds. I don't think they do.  But maybe it's a new baseball only thing they're trying because it doesn't seem like any other live broadcast on Fox sports or prime ticket has it.

Yea I didn't get the ticker on MLB.tv.  Maybe just on the TV broadcast.

Not a fan, but at least they aren't repeating information and placing logos on the field, like what is commonly done on football broadcasts.   I think it is ESPN that repeats the shot clock on the basketball court.  Why?  Who likes that?

It's funny because on the replay right now the ticker is gone, which is when they normally have it. Maybe they just switched the live and replay for some reason today

I thought I was the only one distracted (at times) by the ticker.  Can you imagine how brutal it would be if they used it during the 46 various car ads?

It's annoying!! Maybe if it was the size espn has it, it wouldn't be such of a distraction...but that thing is like 3 times the size!!

It's not that bad, because let's face it, this was a baseball game.  The guy pitches, either there is a play or more likely the catcher catches it, and you have 20 seconds or more until the next pitch.  It's not like there is constant action you need to keep up with, or you're going to be distracted by the ticker during a big play.
