Now that Sean Burnett is on the DL, does this mean Shoemaker will be recalled - 10 day minimum now not a factor?

If a player on the active roster is placed on the DL a player can be recalled after three days.

I think now would be as good of time as any to let the Bedrosian era begin.  I see no reason to have Leblanc up with the big club if he isn't going to start.  Granted I don't understand all the rules that go into worrying about service time and super twos and all that jazz.  So if there is a date, in which we don't have to worry about that and that date is rapidly approaching, then I say make that change day one.

LeBlanc is still left handed, so they may want to see how he does as a lefty guy.  Who knows.

I know nothing about the guy other than he has pitched a handful of games in the majors over the years, and that he is with the organization as depth.
