I have relentlessly been giving him crap since the first month two seasons ago. Mr. Pujols you have shut me up. This stretch he is on (including his D) his beyond MVP. Amazing.

Every time someone would post they'd be happy with a .900+ OPS from Pujols this year I thought, that's it?

OPS at 1.030 now. He's outhitting Trout, and his defense and stolen bases aren't far behind as well.

Ugh, watching Pujols finally start to hit with Hamilton out (who also finally started to show some progress) sucks. Imagine a 2/3/4 of a hot Trout/Pujols/Hamilton. Soon enough Trout is going to get hot, the fact that we could put up 13 runs without him contributing goes to show how much potential our offense has even without 2 of our top 5 hitters in Hamilton and Calhoun.

 

It's crazy, we've actually never seen our big 3 all get hot and hit well at the same time. We've seen it with Trout/Pujols from May on in 2012, and Trout/Hamilton last September (or August, can't exactly remember when Hamilton started hitting well last year), but again never all 3.

Yeah I really hope we get to see Trout/Pujols/Hamilton when they are all on it.  Will be amazing to see.

While I have no expectation that this will continue all season, it's nice to know he is still capable of runs like this.  Hopefully, when they stop throwing him stuff to hit, he will let it go, take the walk and let Hamilton drive him in.

Its awesome to watch this display, reminds me of Vlad when he would go on those monster runs. Now ifTrout would just get out of his little funk, and hamilton gets back.....

Since this thread was started, Pujols is batting .228 (13 for 57) with only 1 HR.

He's a lifetime .320 hitter and he's currently hitting .268 so it's still ok to give him crap.

He was batting .302 a week ago.   Maybe wait a bit longer than one bad series before sounding the alarms again.
