Chatwood was 8-5 with 3.15 ERA last year.

A 3.15 ERA with a 1.43 WHIP with half of his games at Coors.

 

Will never happen again. Having a WHIP north of 1.3 while pitching here in Colorado is just trouble waiting to happen. Very few pitchers have survived here because of this.

Yeah the Iannetta trade was perfectly fine. Chatwood won't amount to much. Probably a decent #5 starter.

Not to be a wet blanket but I don't think Ianetta has been all that....Conger is making some headway and a decent journeyman C to share time with Conger and Chatwood for the rotation would be better than Ianetta and no rotation depth....but that's JMHO....

and DiPoto really owns this signing -- and one can't really say the posters here are Monday Morning quarterbacking on the Blanton signing.

 

to a poster, the folks here thought it was too much money for too long a period for an ineffective soft toss guy......from DAY ONE of the signing.
