Of the 12 head coaches in the playoffs, THREE either played or were an asst coach at LB State.

Marvin Lewis - Linebackers coach in the mid 1980s

John Fox - Secondary coach in the early 1980s

Mike McCoy - QB in 1990-1991

Not bad for an athletic program without football after 1991
