Why wouldn't you wanna get something that has the potential to have a big impact on the future, rather than meaningless wins?

Statistically speaking you are more likely to get a bust than a star.

Because I don't have a loser mentality, especially for "potential". The day potential or a farm system wins major league titles I will be interested in your losing theory.

Remember the potential and farm systems of Dallas McPhearson and Brandon Wood?

You never quit on a fan base, you lose fans and you lose dollars. You show the team is tough through down times but also putting out a competitive team that can win so people renew season tickets and stay interested in the team.
