Any thoughts on more Vegas casinos adopting the 000?

If it goes all three zero slots on the wheel across Vegas, I’ll never play roulette again.

It looks like the local casino and downtown still will be carrying 00.  With Plaza carrying 0.  But it does look like the big casino's carry 0 and European Roulette in the high limit rooms.  I usually don't play Roulette that much.  But if I do, it's just to play one bet on my numbers.

hate to ask, but here goes . . .

what's the difference between 0, 00, and 000? and how does that affect how you bet?

Odds on if you win.  Payout is still 35-1 on a number.  If you add 1 0, it's out of 37 numbers.  0 and 00, out of 38 numbers.  0, 00, and 000 out of 39 numbers.

Even red/black bet.  0 is 18/37 or 48.6%, 00 is 18/38 47.3%, and 000 is 18/39 46.15%.

Those few %, while small, is huge for degens, I mean gamblers.

so a standard roulette wheel has x amount of numbers (1-xx), but if you add 00 and 000 it affects the odds.

are the zero spaces always green or white?

Usually green.  Can be white.  Usually the other numbers are black or red, alternating numbers.  X amount of numbers is always usually 36.  Not counting the 0's.

If not for the zeroes, you could put one chip on red and another on black and just sit there all night. It also makes the possibility of any single number or range of numbers hitting less likely.
