As a side note, you guys love to complain about the generations that you helped raise.

lulz

"Not our fault we're this way, you did it to us"

Such repeated garbage I consistently read from slackers online, just lack of accountability for someones own actions.

we've been in school a week. one of the two kids who agreed to work for me hasn't shown up yet. may have to cut this one loose.

the high school secretary brought a new high school student to my room and asked if i would hire him. she did this in front of my entire class (not a smart move) and without me so much as having spoken to this kid. i told this kid he needed to stop by and see me after school the next day so we could talk. that was a week ago - and he hasn't bothered to stop by. he's not getting hired by me, whether he realizes it or not.

Not even to clap the erasers?

Aren't you depriving him of the "getting fired" experience?

clapping the erasers is something from the 60s, grandpa.

it's been 3.5 weeks since he came by, and he still hasn't come back. he's also still looking for a job according to the registrar.

keep looking kid, but not over this way.

Kids today will never get to enjoy the thrill of breathing chalk dust.

I guess the next best thing is what LeBron does before the game.
