Well, the Jays have a scary rookie bat. Davis Schneider had MLB record 9 hits in his first 2 games, including 2 homers (1 in his first MLB AB).

Iwakuma had a 13 game. RJ and F Garcia each had a 12.

There's just a losing culture on this team. It's been going on for 8 years now. I'd love to have an off the record discussion with someone like Moustakas who has been on a championship team and 4 other teams that have made the post-season about why this team doesn't win ballgames when other teams with less talent on paper do.

Silseth has proven in these 3 starts he has the ability to get major league hitters out. That's one of the few bright spots in the last week and a half. Hopefully, he can do it consistently next year, unlike Sandoval and Detmers have been unable to this year.
