I don't know how the "Cy ___" humor started, but Manoah finished 3rd in Cy Young voting last year. He's a good pitcher with bad numbers this season. Something a lot of fans can't seem to wrap their head around.

Canning usually gets like 7 runs. It's crazy.

Whenever I watch baseball with my dad we revisit the debate on how much do starting pitcher win-loss records matter. He's old school, grew up idolizing Koufax, and to him any pitcher that doesn't get at least 15 wins in a season is awful.

The inconsistency in calls is ridiculous. Renfroe got rung up on a ball out of the zone and detmers are closer to the zone but called a ball.
