I'm fairly certain that if Adam Dunn's on base ability were part of Adell's profile, he would already be in the majors. And the more I think on it, the more it seems evident that pitch discernment and comfort with two strikes is natural, it can only be developed so much before you either got it, or you don't.

Which is sad as hell... considering not only the hype, but how the org positioned itself around him being the next franchise player.

I mentioned it a few weeks ago. If he and Marsh had worked out, we would have been in so much better shape. Sigh..
