they are allergic to momentum. Win 5… lose the next 5 out of 6 and right back where you started. I’m just going to accept this is a .500 team to spare the disappointment

Error was given to Barria on the throw home.

But yeah, isn’t that multiple times Thaiss has failed to touch the plate this season?   It’s not like he’s never caught before.

It's hard to get too excited about four-game win streaks knowing that they are capable of doing some of the dumbest shit imaginable at the drop of a hat. 

(On the plus side, it's hard to get too disappointed with them anymore. I pretty much expect these kind of games now.)

The Halos only scored 6 runs in the 18 regulation innings vs. Marlins.  This puts to much pressure on the pitchers, defense, and substitution decisions, and Bull pen.  Every night is seems that the Angels are

in defcom 5 and clinging for life.

Meanwhile the Rangers are winning easily, due to their sticks, with hardly any stress on their players.

Never attribute to malice what you can attribute to pure stupidity. 

Honestly, I've watched a decent amount of other games this year and the A's are the only other team that even come close to pulling this nonsense this many times.

Okay, I reread the play at the plate, and saw that the error was changed to Thaiss.

Moniak came back to earth fast.   Pitchers are just throwing high fastballs and off speed to him.   And he compounded things with a critical error in the 10th.
