Best time to take Wantz out was after the first two singles in the 8th with one out?   29 pitches at that point were just one shy of his high so far in 2023.

It is fun watching Neto play in the field and not give in at the plate.

Hoping Rendon isn’t hurt too much, his OBP has been an asset so far in 2023.

Not sure how you dont even have the bullpen up when a pitcher has one out, runners on base and is 1 pitch shy of his season high.

At this point, I would lump Tepera in with Suarez and Loup. These guys are either unprepared to start the season or are nefariously tanking.  They will suck when the Angels are in a competitive position in the standings and then miraculously right the ship once the season is out of hand. Either way they are done by now and its time for a further bullpen makeover to save the season. Let them be someone else's problem. Also, if you can't bring in either Barria or Davidson in when the bullpen is running out of high leverage relievers than one of them has to go. Can't have two long relievers without options. A four run lead in the bottom of the 8th should be a win for a team with playoff aspirations.

Tepera is a piece of shit. And because he's a Perry signing he will continue to pitch in high leverage situations and cost us valuable games for the rest of the season.

It's a problem but the real question is, why isnt Davidson or Barria brought in to relieve Detmers? 

It's one thing to have 2 long guys in the pen, it's another to think you can only use them when the team is behind or in a blowout.
