They are up by 4 runs in the 7th. This is not an emergency situation that requires Trout to pinch hit.

Silseth, and Devenski, have completely changed the dynamics of the bullpen. When starters are only going 5 or 6 innings, shutdown middle relievers are becoming as valuable as shutdown closers and setup men.

Particularly needed not just because Loup and Tepera have been busts but Quijada going down for the season. Add in Moore, Estevez, and Wantz and I actually have optimism for the back-end moving forward. Just never let Loup pitch meaningful innings again. In fact, please just DFA him already and bring Wantz back up when eligible.

I know I am stating the obvious but it would be huge if Davidson could pitch these last two innings with the Halos getting the W. Having all three of Moore, Silseth, and Estevez rested going into these next two big series would be ideal.

Seems just like yesterday I was at the Big A looking up at the scoreboard and seeing .000 next to his name. He cranked a homer in that game and has been hitting well since. Good to see it... and don't wanna jinx him but seems he's cleaning up the defensive mistakes too.
