Kenyon had another outstanding outing last night with 2 innings pitched and no runs allowed.

15th straight outing with no earned runs allowed

ERA is now at 0.46 with WHIP of .97

seems like the type where competition and pressure make him better.  His fire and spirit on fun.  Especially when it's on your team.

@Terry - do you think they'll promote him straight from AA to the bigs or to AAA first?

Your guess is most likely better than mine. He has been the most consistent pitcher on the Pandas and in his short PRO pitching career has been rock solid. The 4 runs he gave up at single A was after he hurt his arm and tried to power through the inning. If you go back to his college pitching Kenyon was also rock solid. The most recent call ups have been very inconsistent. Who knows what the powers to be use to make their decisions. Economics surly play into the decision making.

If removing the one outing earlier in May where he allowed all 6 batters to reach base, his ERA is 1.70 and WHIP is 0.94.

Ready for the bigs soon?

Don't know about his "stuff" - but this team could use some of his fire down the stretch.

Guys like Neto, for example, can have an effect beyond just numbers ..

Just saw this thread !

@Terry Good Luck to your grandson. He's having a really great season and after watching the interview he has level mindset to continue to move up on his journey to the highest level. I always went by the conversation, responses and results when talking with the young guys. It's the competitiveness that brings the rest out. Good Luck to him!
