Let this just sink in for a minute.  The combination of Duggar, Stassi and Velazquez were a combined:

0-11 with 10 strikeouts and 10 runners stranded on base.  Of those 10 strikeouts, I’d hazard to say half we’re looking, but I’d be guessing.

That is complete dogshit, no matter what level of baseball we’re talking about.

Actually, 8 of the ten were swinging third strikes.

Still pathetic that three hitters struck out 10 times between them

At this rate, O’Hoppe could become the #1 catcher by a year from now.

I was thinking about that 9th inning and trying to remember if I had ever seen something similar. 
 

closest I could come up with was a game in the late 80s with Howard Johnson playing third. Three errors in that game. Towards the end a beach ball rolled onto the field. Howard got that one cleanly and received a mocking standing ovation in return.

Willie Davis committed 3 errors in one inning in the 1966 WS.
