Same with Rojas. MacKinnon is a Righty but that ship sailed. Cabbage is a lefty at AA. DiChara (who has just been drafted but is 23) is the DH at AA and he hits righty.

Well, that's a first: Someone accusing me of not researching the topic.

The point: Jared Walsh was never viewed as a "can't miss guy" - not by anyone, ever.

The biggest change with Walsh this year is he sucks against RHP's. Last year he had an OPS of .994 versus them, this year it's .681.

His numbers are better against LHP's this year - .660 TY vs. .565 LY.

Not going to argue semantics with you.  The point:  In early 2021 Walsh was being compared to Justin Turner, Manny Machado, Kyle Seager, Juan Soto.  That fits the general description of "can't miss".

Really? I don't remember him being compared to those guys. I mean he turned 28 at mid-season so maybe Justin Turner?
