Gameday Thread (7/13/22): Astros @ Angels - no Trout, Ward in CF, Adell in RF

Ump missed 3 clear strikes.  They weren't even borderline.

Okay so the ump screwed up but it's going to just continue to happen until we get a robotic strike zone. I get that people want to vent but it changes nothing. Just imagine how many games have been saved by instant replay. I would bet that it's more than not having a robotic strike zone has saved. At least we have replays. I will post the umpire score card tomorrow. Sucks that Ohtani lost the streak but anytime I see something like that, I think back to the game where Jim Joyce blew a PERFECT game for Armando Galarraga. That will pretty much remain one of the worst blown calls ever for a pitcher.

Apologies for my negativity towards Adell but I feel like he's been given plenty of chances by now and I just don't know what anybody sees in him anymore.

Contact is bad. They not making any contact other than Adell's 6 fouls in one plate appearance.
