Absolutely. We needed to do something different. Even if it doesn't work, we gave Wade and Velazquez plenty of time to turn it around offensively. They never did. So try something new. The Angels aren't trading for any of those 3 positions, so they need to make lemonade with it. When Fletcher comes back, whichever 2 of those 3 guys are playing the best will stick.

I mostly criticizing the ordering of the lineup, not the players starting—though, obviously I’d rather see Walsh and Marsh start.

Villar at leasdoff is a bit strange but whatever, this offense has sucked regardless of the lineup over the past two months so change is needed.

With this group of players I am not a fan of this line up.  I don’t like Villar at leadoff. I don’t like MacKinnon that far down.

I just feel like at this point any lineup that is different is worth trying.

This is going to come across as argumentative but having these two make their debuts should be all the “different” needed.  Putting a .300 OBP guy (if he performs decently) at leadoff isn’t different it’s dumb.

I don't think the lineup matters at this point. 

If Ward is leading off then one of those other guys is batting cleanup. The fact is we just don't have anyone worth hitting anywhere.
