A LOT of players don't hustle right out of the batters box. It's always been this way. I remember watching them as a kid trying to understand why players don't run as hard as they can after every hit.

I honestly think Trout thought that ball was going to be caught.

Not misplayed by a mile like it was.  That was really played horrible.  The Cf was getting heckled pretty good.
