Just finished Better Call Saul, Haunting of Hill House, Modern Family.

On the big screen, Avatar, Plane, The Menu.

Enjoyed all to varying degrees.

i want to like this show more than i do. the principal is really annoying to me. 

i'm guessing how i feel about watching teachers in a show is equivalent to how medical people feel watching a show about doctors and hospitals.

Just finished the entire Modern Family comedy and was looking for a quick replacement.  Only 3 episodes in so not sold, just in "giving it a chance" mode.  If family suggest to pull the plug, I am not invested.  My wife thinks the principal is the best thing about it so far.

Watched the first episode of Vienna Blood on PBS.  Will be watching the rest of the 3 seasons.

Also watched "American Underdog" - Kurt Warner's story.  I enjoyed it very much. Available on Hulu.

i wish Line of Duty would hurry up and become free to watch on amazon prime. S6 came out in March of '21 and still can only be seen with a subscription to britbox.

Yeah, I dropped the ball on this, too, and would like to watch again. I had a Hulu login, but only watched one or two episodes before they stopped showing it on that app.

I bought a 75" TV last year that came with a bunch of apps installed. I think one or two of them have this show for free, but I think they come with ads or commercials.

Netflix: The Pale Blue Eye

Murder Mystery set in the 1830s staring Christian Bale.

Wonderful sets and lighting.  Story occurs in the winter months on the east coast, so plenty of dark grey against snow covered grounds.  Some scenes appear to have been shot with only candle light, as was done in Barry Lyndon.

The story includes Edgar Allen Poe, and takes the title from his work.

Netflix:  That 90's Show  It starts off very slow and very awkward.  A lot of cameos.  And the kids are pretty much copies of the original kids.  Red and Kitty are solid.  It doesn't start to get rid of that awkwardness till at least halfway through the season.  And even then, it's no where close to the original and tries too hard to be like the original.
