That's just it....  I praise them for making that move and in truth you have to give them credit for sticking to their guns about wanting him to improve that part of his game, but when you turn around and put an equally inept defender out there...  WTF??   

Adell needs to play everyday to improve, if they aren't sure about Ward's status but don't want to risk him getting injured then bite the bullet, IL him and let Adell play everyday.  Two birds, one stone.

It will be even more inane if they wait a week, then do it.

Nah, his slider was really good and it set up the rest of his stuff.  Its cratered though.  Hes honestly the poster child for RP volatility.  Guys like him are found all over the place, they are good enough when they are "on" to get guys out, but they aren't consistently on.  

Any time you can get two good years from a guy like Mayers you sort of consider yourself lucky and move on.
