oh stop this is not going to happen.
Every move Maddon has made is defensibly by the numbers, its defined everything hes done.
Hes made comments about old style baseball and implied he would use his gut as much as the computer but he hasnt.
That means everything hes done was basically right per the stats, he went to the guys he had at that time that fit that option... and they failed.  It isnt on Maddon, its on who gave him those options. 
What is on Maddon is becoming a peripheral to the damned computer instead of using his baseball IQ and experience as he said he would.

You don't fire your manager when the team is doing well. Other than something happening outside of the game (like Callaway, for example), it just won't happen.

Talk about sending the wrong message to the players. Something like that could completely demoralize the team.

I don't like Maddon, but I'm guessing everyone in the locker room does, and I would also guess that they all consider him their leader.

The only way the Manager of this team gets fired mid-season is if a certain player with multiple MVP's were to issue an ultimatum to Arte of either he goes, or trade me. Since that would never happen in a million years, get used to him being here at least until the end of the season.
