He's clearly not the same pitcher prior to TJS. THe swing and miss isn't elite anymore with the massive velo decline on everything, but he's done well in limiting walks and having an elite GB%. That should help him succeed more often than not with the type of infield defense/positioning we've seen from the Angels this year

He'll be prone to blowups like this though, just like Lorenzen will, when they aren't getting those grounders or limiting free passes.

On April 15, the Angels were down 6-2 to the Rangers and won 9-6.

People forget or don't realize how bad Texas's pitching can be.
