Do you read the Athletic?  It's not just one tweet, it's the bulk of his work.  He always throws something in that really comes across as Debbie Downer BS....    Mike Trout hit a HR today although it barely got over the fence.  Noah Syndergaard got a K to get out of a jam but one of the pitches may have been a ball. 

Plus his header has him pictured on The View..

Yeah, I read The Athletic from time to time.  Again, I don't see the problem.  I personally don't think a beat writer has an obligation to be a hype-man.  Might just be my personal taste.
