Best thing about this team so far is they don't seem to let bad games, or series, snowball like they have the past few years. After the Astros & Orioles series they went on nice winning stretches.

First time in many seasons (I don't know if I'd have to go back even as far as 2014) that I've felt they have a 90% chance of winning a game that they're leading after 6 innings.

 

Helps having Loup, Tepera, and Iggy.

How the hell did we get Rasiel Iglesias for Noe Ramirez?? Good closers normally cost a couple top prospects… one of the better trades in recent years.

From what I recall the Reds were trying to get rid of every asset that might actually cost money that year. Seems like they were more motivated to get rid of Iglesias than to wait for a good haul for him. Deal looked like a steal at the time… and even more so now.

They obviously think Pickett is more capable of stepping right in to play.
