What a tantrum.  So they are hoping fans will be so upset over this that they will never come back and this ends up being a catastrophic event that destroys the game forever?

Why?

Is it really hard for people to accept that some fans are perfectly capable of getting through this without feeling the need to make some big statement or reject the game or boycott?

What is wrong with fans just recognizing and accepting that the two parties absolutely have to go through this right now to get a new CBA in place?

No I am not pissed.  No I am not offended.  No I will not be damaged if some games are missed.  No I have no agenda to make my voice heard.

Its not that big of a deal honestly.  They will reach an agreement and then I will watch some games like I always do.  If that makes me a “sucker” (from the article) for not abandoning the game over this, then so be it.

Not all fans are to blame.  Baseball fans matter, and whether we’re a bit passive as a consumer group at this time will be revealed.  Some will be pissed but not do anything about it.  I’d be following spring training and getting excited for the start of the season and I’m unhappy to be reminded that baseball today is business bullshit.

I’ll still follow baseball, but with replays of big plays available I sometimes just listen while doing other things and wonder if MLBTV is worth it.  I could just do the audio option, and if they cancel too many games I will be pissed enough to try it.

Actually it is your fault.
