I’m going to make a pretty bold prediction.  Some fans are going to like what he brings to the booth and some fans won’t.  Those who hate him will be adamant that he sucks.  A lot of idiots will continue to tell us they miss Hudler.

i really like it when you make bold, risky predictions. it separates you from the herd.

listened to him a bit tonight. he and gubi are both obviously feeling their way around each other (not gay). i wish his voice was a bit deeper.

Same exact thoughts.  But in a gay way. Maybe that's why his voice is higher.

Pfft, this guy ain't gonna last to next year anyway.  We're going to have an endless string of 5 month, 29 day broadcasters.  Bally saving some money by not vesting 401k employer match that way.

Bally also saving on Vasgersian health insurance since he doesn't hit 30 hours worked per week.

Bally got it all figured out.

Broadcasters are primarily independent contractors and not specifically an employee of any one company. They are contract labor and pay or play, which means they can be released without notice for any reason. They do not have  employee health care benefits unless they are tied into a Union like SAG/AFTRA nor any 401K vesting. This is why Vasgersian can bounce between Bally Sports, ESPN and MLB Channel, he is not an employee. He has contracts with each like any vendor of a product.

I was unaware of that. You’d think you could gain a competitive advantage by offering those perks for exclusivity.

First day on the job, guys. He doesn't know the team outside of the few headliners so his ability to give much more than the count is pretty limited. Give him a few weeks.

Yeah he doesn't know enough to be a complete homer so he might still have a shred of objectivity.
