i also hope he doesnt try and salvage his image, options out, and resigns for a cheaper deal for them

Maybe, but with nothing else to lose he might use the "sex addict" strategy. It worked for Hamilton. As a recovering alcholic this is a bs ploy to excuse bad behavior and protect the paycheck.

I believe Bauer's season is finished. He will not pitch again.

So, do you mean the last team he plays for? Do you mean they DFA him and he signs somewhere else?

I don't think MLB will allow him to play anywhere this season.

I hope he finishes the season in custody, is denied bail as a flight risk, and is then put in gen-pop.

And even then it wouldn't surprise me one bit if the Astros tried to sign him.

Hamilton worked a loophole in the drug policy to save his contract.  His agent deserved a bonus.  Despite the narrative that he "did the right thing and self reported", the reality is he did so to avoid failing a test and risk losing his contract.  Biggest most conniving POS in Angels history.
